Notifications

Notifications is where you set the email address that hears about new lead submissions — the messages people send through the forms on your public marketing site. Go to Settings → Notifications.

Set your notification email

Under Lead-notification email, type the address that should be emailed when a new submission arrives (for example, owner@yoursalon.com), then click Save. You'll see "Saved."

What happens when it's blank

You don't have to set one. Every submission is always saved to your Messages inbox either way — the notification email is just a heads-up so you don't have to keep checking. When the field is blank:

  • Front Desk Central falls back to an Owner or Manager on your team, if one is set up, and emails them instead.
  • If nothing resolves, the submission is still saved, but no email goes out — and a reminder banner shows on your dashboard until you set a recipient.

To stop the emails, clear the field and Save.

What's next

  • Messages — read and triage the submissions themselves.
  • Team — who counts as an Owner or Manager for the fallback.
